Fresenius Medical Care in Springfield, MA seeks an RN applicant to join the hemodialysis healthcare team under supervision of a Staff RN. The role focuses on delivering quality patient care daily in line with FMCNA policies and CQI activities.

You will obtain nursing licensure within required timeframes and participate in ongoing education for ESRD management. Responsibilities include supervising Patient Care Technicians, assessing patient needs, educating patients and families about dialysis

Formación

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months.
• Must obtain nursing license and registration within state regulations or 90 days from hire.

Responsabilidades

• Directs Patient Care Technician’s provision of safe and effective delivery of chronic hemodialysis therapy.
• Delegates tasks to direct patient care staff including LVN/LPNs, PCTs, and Dialysis Assistants.
• Assesses daily patient care needs and develops appropriate patient care assignments.
• Routinely monitors patient care staff for adherence to techniques and policies.
• Educates patients and families about ESRD, dialysis therapy, and related health conditions.
• Ensures accurate and complete documentation of patient care and treatments.
