SambaNova is seeking a new graduate Compiler Engineer to contribute to core compiler components, including IR, pass infrastructure, and model lowering for the Reconfigurable Dataflow Unit (RDU) fabric. You will collaborate with runtime and hardware teams, writing production code in C++ and Python, and learning from senior engineers who will mentor you.

You will gain hands-on experience in lowering models, memory management, and mapping operations to optimize performance while gaining exposure to

Competenze

• BS in CS/EE/CE or related field.
• Experience in ML systems development, incl. ML compilers or kernel generation.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++.
• Experience programming GPUs or other AI accelerators.

Mansioni

• Implement and optimize passes in the compiler's IR and pass infrastructure.
• Lower and partition machine learning models for execution on the RDU.
• Develop tensor tiling and memory management for on-chip memory.
• Map operations onto the RDU fabric to improve model performance.
• Debug compiler and performance issues at a low level in C++ and Python.
