Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site service and repair of automated semiconductor manufacturing equipment in Phoenix, AZ. You will diagnose issues, maintain records, and coordinate with customers to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong electronics repair and troubleshooting skills, plus a solid mechanical aptitude. Prior semiconductor experience is valuable; military experience may substitute for education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Semiconductor industry experience is valuable for this team.
• Military experience is considered in place of educational requirements.

Responsibilities

• On-site service and repair of automated semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems and maintains records.
• Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor and customers to minimize downtime.
• Orders and installs new parts and performs upgrades as needed.
• Instructs customer operators on system operation and maintenance.

Physical Requirements

Physical Requirements:Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.
