Job summary

Unicity is seeking a Production Manager to lead a brand-new manufacturing facility in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, overseeing all production operations, safety, quality and efficiency. The role requires hands-on leadership and the ability to build a high-performing team from the ground up.

The successful candidate will manage production staff, train operators, and partner with other managers to implement SOPs, drive continuous improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance in a brand-new facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum six years of manufacturing experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Motivated by the opportunity to build a team and operational systems from scratch in a brand-new facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage production staff and day-to-day manufacturing activities.
• Hands-on training of staff on machinery usage and maintenance; partner with discipline managers for development opportunities.
• Lead safe production, shipping and fulfillment to meet Total Quality requirements and regulations.
• Develop SOPs and reports to improve efficiency and reduce waste and costs.
• Lead strategic implementation of operational excellence programs and drive a world-class facility.
