Job summary

Unicity USA Inc. is seeking a Production Manager in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, to lead a brand-new powder supplement facility. You will oversee production staff, ensure safety and quality, and partner with leadership to stand up operations from the ground up.

The role requires hands-on leadership, 6+ years in manufacturing, and bilingual English/Spanish, with a focus on building robust processes and teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Six years of manufacturing experience.
• Able to lead and create consensus to achieve a common goal.
• Demonstrate strong leadership of RCI for significant unplanned events.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Motivated by building a team and operating systems in a brand-new facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee production staff and day-to-day manufacturing activities.
• Hands-on training for machinery usage and maintenance; collaborate with other managers to develop staff.
• Lead safe and compliant production, shipping, and fulfillment per quality requirements and regulations.
• Oversee consistent, quality products while driving reliable manufacturing operations.
• Learn operation of production machinery and develop SOPs to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead strategic implementation of operational efficiency programs and build a world-class facility.
• Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing environment while coaching the team.
• Coordinate with Corporate Leadership on production schedules and hiring decisions.
• Identify infrastructure needs to achieve quality and regulatory goals.
• Build out the team and systems for a new manufacturing site from ground up.
