Job summary

Experience Senior Living LLC is seeking an experienced New Development Operations Specialist to lead and support new senior living communities from pre-opening through opening and stabilization. This role requires deep expertise in operations, financial management, sales, and regulatory compliance, with prior Executive Director experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Executive Director-level leadership in senior living operations.
• Experience supporting new senior living openings and pre-opening operations.
• Strong understanding of operations, financial management, sales, and occupancy.
• Experience coaching Executives and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• New Community Operational Readiness: support planning and execution for openings, ensuring teams, systems, policies, vendors, and resources are ready for day one.
• Pre-Opening Support: partner with corporate and community leadership to develop timelines and readiness checklists.
• Opening & Stabilization: provide on-site leadership during openings and initial stabilization, overseeing move-ins, staffing, workflows, and service delivery.
• Executive Director Support & Development: coach and guide newly hired Executive Directors to lead communities successfully.
• Team Onboarding & Training: support onboarding and training of leadership teams and reinforce operating standards.
• Operational Excellence: implement best practices in staffing, financial management, sales, occupancy, and resident experience.
• Systems & Process Implementation: support deployment of company systems, policies, and processes in new communities.
• Regulatory & Compliance Readiness: prepare for licensing, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
• Performance Monitoring: assess community performance post-opening and develop improvement plans.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: align with Operations, Sales, Health & Wellness, Culinary, People, Development, and corporate partners.
• Continuous Improvement: capture lessons learned and refine processes for future openings.
