Job Title: Civil Project Engineer - Land Development

Location: Mount Crawford, VA

Salary Range: $70,000 - $140,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer with experience in land development projects to join our industry-leading firm specializing in land development, transportation, and utility engineering. This full-time position offers immediate growth potential and a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

1. Design and permit construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater treatment and conveyance, water and sewer systems, roadway, pump station, and force main design.
2. Provide technical and design services supporting civil engineering projects, reporting directly to the project manager.
3. Coordinate technical evaluations, produce reports, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely project completion.
4. Manage project submittals, facilitate regulatory agency approvals, and obtain necessary construction permits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License is required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Hydraflow Storm Sewer, Hydrograph, and WaterCad is preferred.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Experience with land development project design is preferred.
