Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking qualified drivers with a Class A CDL to join our Pennsylvania operations. Trainees will ride with an experienced driver, then transition to solo driving with full mileage pay. You will be paid weekly and receive a safety-focused, steady route along the eastern seaboard.

Your first 3 months as a solo driver are backed by a guaranteed weekly pay of $1,000. Monthly and mileage incentives help boost earnings, with home time every two weeks and comprehensive benefits after the

Qualifications

• Class A CDL and at least 21 years of age.
• Completion of 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school, or 6 months OTR in the last year (12 months in the last 5 also works)
• A record with no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years and no major preventable accidents in 5
• No DUI or DWI within 5 to 10 years depending on your CDL date
• Ability to pass DOT physical and hair and urine drug tests
• Home within 200 miles of Harrisburg, PA

Responsibilities

• Drive loads along the eastern seaboard and typically operate Dry Van freight with occasional live loading/unloading
• Maintain safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to DOT regulations
• Work with training program: ride with an experienced driver during initial training and transition to solo driving after certification

Learning the Job the Right Way

Nobody tosses you the keys on day one. You spend your training period riding with an experienced driver, running real freight on real lanes, and you are paid every week the whole time. When your trainer signs off, you step into your own truck at full mileage pay.

The Safety Net

For your first 3 months as a solo driver, your pay is guaranteed at $1,000 a week. Slow week? You are still covered.

Where the Freight Goes

• Up and Down the Coast: Loads run along the eastern seaboard and rarely head far west
• Around 2,000 Miles a Week: Enough to keep the wheels moving
• Dry Van: Drop and hook, with some live loading and unloading
• Home Every 2 Weeks: A schedule your family can count on

Pay Beyond the Guarantee

• Average Weekly: $1,000 to $1,200
• Mileage: 55 cents per mile to start, rising a penny for each extra year of experience, up to 65 cents
• Stop Pay: $15
• Monthly Bonus: Performance plan for safe, on time drivers
