Job summary

McGrath Evanston Subaru in the Chicago area is seeking a driven New Car Sales Manager to lead our high-volume showroom and deliver top-tier customer experience. You will desk deals, manage inventory turns, and coach the sales team to maximize volume and gross averages.

You will partner with marketing and internet sales to optimize digital leads and showroom traffic while ensuring compliance with Subaru incentive programs and delivery processes.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as New Car Manager, Sales Manager, or GSM in high-volume franchise.
• Strong desk skills, DMS familiarity, inventory dashboards, and CRM lead tracking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the new vehicle sales department, including desk operations and deal structuring.
• Manage new car inventory levels, ordering pipelines, turn rates and allocations.
• Coach and supervise a sales team with daily meetings and product training.
• Collaborate with marketing and internet sales to optimize digital leads and showroom traffic.
• Ensure compliance with Subaru incentive programs, CPO guidelines, delivery, and warranties.
• Deliver a world-class customer buying experience aligned with the Subaru Love Promise.
