Job summary

Paris Baguette is seeking a New Cafe Opening Production Manager to lead Back of House teams through opening cafe processes, ensuring high-quality bakery products and consistent execution of standards.

The role focuses on mentoring, training, and aligning with senior leadership to optimize staffing, inventory management, and adherence to food safety. Travel to openings and corporate locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years restaurant experience, bakery cafe experience preferred.
• Strong leadership across a large, geographically decentralized portfolio.
• Passion for empowering and developing team members.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Back of House teams (cakers, bakers, sandwich & salad makers) during cafe openings.
• Provide direction on best-in-class processes for operations, inventory, and scheduling.
• Ensure adequate staffing and training for opening, addressing gaps as needed.
• Collaborate with General Manager and District Manager on staffing and skills issues.
• Oversee scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for openings and busy periods.
• Teach inventory management and COYS goals to the cafe team and management.
• Ensure sanitation and food safety standards are consistently met.
• Coach and recognize Back of House teams to uphold Paris Baguette standards.
