Job summary

Paris Baguette North America seeks a New Café Opening Specialist to support successful openings and ongoing brand execution. The role blends travel to new café openings with in-store support to existing company-operated cafés, primarily in New York.

The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys coaching others, and is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences. Strong eye for detail and brand presentation are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of restaurant, bakery café, hospitality, or retail management experience preferred.
• Experience training, coaching, or developing team members strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of hospitality, guest service, and operational excellence.
• Flexible, adaptive, upbeat management style.

Responsibilities

• Support the NCO Team with planning, setup, training, and execution of new café openings.
• Assist with café readiness including inventory, merchandising, signage, cleanliness, and operational setup.
• Deliver Front of House training and coach franchise teams on service standards.
• Reinforce food safety, sanitation, quality, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
• Train teams on POS, cash handling, inventory, guest service, and daily café operations.
• Partner with NCO, Production, Franchise, GM, and Field Operations teams during openings.
• Identify and communicate operational, training, cleanliness, merchandising, and guest experience opportunities.
• Support grand opening initiatives and ensure cafés are ready to deliver exceptional guest experiences from day one.
• Serve as Brand Ambassador and model Mission, Vision, and Values in cafés between openings.
• Coach teams on service excellence, product knowledge, hospitality, and guest interactions.
• Observe guest experience and identify opportunities to improve service and presentation.
• Own and elevate café merchandising, product presentation, and visual standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, inviting environment and ensure marketing materials meet standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation to leadership.
• Provide field observations and recommendations to leadership and support onboarding.
