What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect and research potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs and setting appointments for Account Managers
- Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote literacy and the value of Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and track progress toward sales goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance outreach strategies and improve lead generation efficiency

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management tools
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with peers, superiors, and customers

- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Proven leadership abilities demonstrated in previous roles
- Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
