Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing
• At least one (1) year of RN experience at hire
• Registered Nurse I competence or equivalent experience at hire
• RN licensure in TX at hire
• Basic Life Support (CPR) within 14 days
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 6 months
• Stable Program within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Assessment: admission and ongoing assessment; notify changes to doctor.
• Planning: design and document care plan and discharge needs with team.
• Implementation: prepare patients, report changes, follow safety protocols.
• Evaluation: reassess after interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Report Skills: bedside reporting and handoffs with family participation.
• Environment & Patient Safety: maintain safe, clean, compliant environment.
