Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neurosurgery ICU at Carolinas Medical Center. The RN will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care during the night shift, with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, on a 29-bed unit with private rooms and advanced monitoring.

Requires an accredited nursing program completion, an active RN license in the state of practice, 6 months RN experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience; this position is not for new grads.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to ensure safe patient environments and high-quality experiences.
