Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neurosurgery ICU at Carolinas Medical Center. This part-time role is 24 hours per week with a night shift (1900-0730) and rotating weekends/holidays in a 29-bed NSICU with private rooms and central monitoring.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited nursing program, holds a state RN license, and a current BLS certification, with at least six months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Accredited nursing program completed.
• RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• At least 6 months RN experience; not for new grads.
• Ability to work night shift 1900-0730 with rotating weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Contribute to a safe patient environment and ensure quality care across the continuum.
