Qualifications
- Current Florida RN license required.
- BLS provider within 1 month of hire date.
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire date.
- Diploma from accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
Responsibilities
- Assist operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure.
- Perform scrub and circulating functions, monitor patient condition during procedure and communicate nursing care before, during and after procedure.
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
- Directly support patient positioning and overall perioperative care for Neurosurgery patients.
