HCA Florida Gainesville Neurosurgery is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced neurosurgery setting. You will manage patient flow, perform pre- and post-procedure nursing tasks, educate patients on medications, and maintain accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and graduation from an accredited nursing program are required.
• 1-3 years' RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, exam prep, general nursing care, and admissions/testing.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records including posting tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Respond to and triage phone calls when needed.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and Mission and Value statements.
