Southern Neurosurgery in Gainesville, GA is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time role at $40-$45 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package. Schedule: Mon-Thu 7:30 AM-4:30 PM and Fri 8:00 AM-12:00 PM. Join a collaborative team delivering patient-centered care in brain, spine, and nervous system treatments.

Requirements include ADN with RN license, BLS, and strong clinical skills. Preferred BSN and OR/PACU experience; C-Arm familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in good standing and BLS certification.
• Knowledge of nursing standards and Nurse Practice Act.
• Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, obtain nursing histories, monitor vital signs and intervene as needed.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team.
• Provide safe, therapeutic care per policies and protocols.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR.
• Prepare OR and assist surgeons with instruments when assigned.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; maintain infection control.
• Operate C-Arm/fluoroscopy under surgeon guidance when required.
• Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
