Job summary

CarePoint is seeking a Full Time Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to support Banner Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO, with potential to assist at Banner Fort Collins Medical Center. The outpatient clinic-based role includes occasional OR and on-call coverage.

Responsibilities include neurosurgical care for adults across ED, ICU, trauma and clinic, evaluating new patients, post-ops, and surgical planning with the surgeon; assisting in urgent bedside procedures and first assist in

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current and unrestricted DEA license.
• Must have Surgical Assist Certification if NP.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide neurosurgical care to adult patients.
• Care for patients in ED, ICU, trauma, and clinic settings.
• In clinic, see new patients, follow-ups, post-ops, imaging patients.
• Work up patients for surgical plans with the surgeon.
• Assist in urgent bedside procedures; First Assist in OR.
• Provide on-call support in rotation with other PAs.
