Qualifications

• Hold a current Physician Assistant (PA) certification with a focus or experience in neurosurgery.
• Credentialing requirements for Maryland state licensure, clinical privileges, and medical staff membership.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with neurosurgeons to provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and perform follow-up care.
• Assist in surgeries and procedures, providing pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Manage inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical patients.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and options.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of neurosurgical services.
