Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant for a combo day/night shift at our premier neurosurgery practice. You will independently assess patients, order labs/tests/consults, and collaborate with the attending physician and PA team across five area hospitals.

Responsibilities include evaluating inpatient consults, performing histories and physicals, and assisting in surgical cases when needed. We offer competitive salary ($185,000–$250,000 per year), comprehensive benefits, 401k,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Must possess a New Jersey DEA license and New Jersey CDS license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Board Certification is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Commitment to ongoing learning in neurosurgery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inpatient consults and round on hospital patients at five area hospitals.
• Perform comprehensive history and physicals.
• Independently assess patients and order labs/tests/consults.
• Assist in surgical cases, as needed
• Collaborate with attending physician and PA team to maintain a team-oriented environment.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Stay current with neurosurgery advancements and professional development.
