Qualifications

• Must hold a current Physician Assistant (PA) certification with a neurosurgery focus.
• Meet credentialing requirements for Maryland state licensure and medical staff membership.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with neurosurgeons to provide comprehensive care for neurological conditions.
• Assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and manage follow-up care.
• Assist in surgeries and procedures and provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Care for inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical patients.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment options.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings for coordinated care.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of neurosurgical services.
