Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Neurological Surgery to deliver advanced patient care in both ambulatory and inpatient settings.

The NP will coordinate care with physicians, provide education to patients and families, and participate in multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based treatment plans and adherence to privacy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• All requirements show active California RN and NP licenses including furnishing/DEA where applicable.
• Must have completed an accredited NP program and be board certified.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive care for Neurological Surgery and Neurology patients.
• Provide patient education, treatment planning and follow-up communication with referring physicians.
• Collaborate with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
