Job summary

Dignity Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Chandler, AZ at Chandler Regional Medical Center. You will provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in a 443-bed acute care hospital, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and safety.

You will assess patients, administer treatments, document care, and advocate for patient needs in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• ADN, Diploma, BSN or Foreign Equivalent.
• Registered Nurse license AZ.
• AHA BLS certification.
• AHA ACLS certification within 6 months.
• One year recent acute care experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, safe, evidence-based nursing care to achieve patient health outcomes.
• Organize and prioritize patient care activities balancing patient needs and comfort.
• Demonstrate accountability for ethical behavior and escalate issues when needed.
• Advocate for patients with holistic care practices.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition with timely, clinical actions.
• Use SBAR to notify physicians and colleagues of clinical findings.

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
• Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
• Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside.
