Qualifications

• ADN, Diploma, BSN or Foreign Equivalent
• RN license in AZ
• American Heart Association BLS
• ACLS within 6 months
• One year recent acute care experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive, safe, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Recognizes changes in patient condition and responds promptly with appropriate actions.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team and follows the chain of command when needed.
• Delegates tasks based on patient needs, risk, and outcome predictability within scope of practice.
• Works as part of a team, valuing diverse cultural beliefs to provide respectful care.

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Recognizes limits of scope of practice, seeks multidisciplinary collaboration, utilizes appropriate resources, and follows chain of command.
• Delegates tasks based on the needs of the patient, potential for harm, patient stability, task complexity, and outcome predictability within the scope of skill set and practice.
• Participates as a team member by utilizing team skills effectively on a daily basis.
• Uses knowledge of cultural differences to provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs.
