NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking an ICU Technician for the Neurosurgery unit on the 8HS, part-time nights. You will assist with phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, and glucose testing, collaborating closely with nurses and attendants to deliver compassionate patient care.

This role requires at least two years of Nursing Attendant experience and relevant training as Nurse Technician or Medical Assistant. On-site work is expected within the NYP system.

Formación

• Minimum of two years current Nursing Attendant experience in a health care setting.
• Successful completion of a skills inventory of a Nursing Attendant.
• Recent training and/or experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant.

Responsabilidades

• Bring comfort at the bedside and assist in clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs monitoring and blood glucose testing.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to provide patient care and safety.
• Support with routine procedures and equipment as directed by nurses.
