Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice RN (APRN) to join our Neurosurgery team at 85 Seymour Street, HHMOB (10117). The role offers 1:1 training with a neurosurgeon, opportunities for growth, and OR time as 1st Assist.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program.
• Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / APRN in the state of Connecticut.
• Certification or eligible for certification as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st assist in neurosurgical procedures (cranial and spine).
• Collaborate with Neurosurgery team for patient care.
• Participate in training and mentorship with a neurosurgeon.
