Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN) to support neurosurgery and complex spine cases. You will work closely with a neurosurgeon, serving as 1st assistant and contributing to patient-centered care.

A strong mentorship environment and ongoing growth opportunities are provided. Applicants should have a Master’s in PA or APRN, CT licensure eligibility, and board certification eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred.
• Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / APRN in Connecticut.
• Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• 1st Assist in neurosurgery procedures within the OR.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeon and other advanced practitioners.
• Provide surgical support and contribute to cranial and spine surgeries.
• Engage in ongoing mentorship and professional development within Hartford HealthCare.

• The opportunity to work with a team of advanced practitioners with an abundance of Neurosurgery experience
• Advanced surgical procedures both cranial and spine. Specializing in skull base procedures
• Established practice and staff who take time with their patients

Shift -FullTimefour 10-hour shifts, M-F. Hours may vary dependent upon case load
