Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited medical school; residency completed.
• Neurosurgical residency completed; board-eligibility or certification.
• Neuro-endovascular fellowship completed; subspecialty training in vascular/skull-base.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Illinois or eligible for licensure.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Sensitivity to needs of underrepresented minority populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the Division of Neurosurgery and budgets for vascular/endovascular programs.
• Develop or contribute to Adult Neurosurgical programs (General/Spinal) and budgets.
• Assist recruitment for the Department of Surgery and related areas.

Education

Graduate of accredited medical school program

Successful completion of a Neurosurgical Residency

Successful completion of a Neuro-endovascular Fellowship

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurosurgery

Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Illinois or eligible for licensure

Sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations

Desirable: Neurosurgical Vascular or Skull-base Fellowship
