Job summary

Stormont Vail Health seeks a Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver advanced nursing care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will work independently and with the Neurosurgery team to manage care plans, review tests, and coordinate discharge needs.

The role requires RN competencies, APRN licensure, and NP certification, with the ability to educate staff, participate in research, and support management protocols. First shift, 40 hours per week, in Kansas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA/APRN program; meets department policy timelines.
• Maintain RN competencies per federal/state guidelines and SVH policy.
• Certified as a nurse practitioner; APRN licensure required; PA licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides primary care for Neurosurgery in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Delivers care within Stormont Vail Health mission and management protocols.
• Assists in the operating room on neurosurgical cases and discharge planning.
• Dictates discharge summaries with physician co-signature and coordinates referrals.
