Job summary

Qualifications

• Two to three years of acute/critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Completion of ACNP or PA program required.
• Current licensure as ACNP/PA in Ohio with BLS and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform histories and physical exams on critically ill patients.
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests (CT, MRI, EEG, labs).
• Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans with supervising physician.
• Manage and interpret intracranial pressure devices.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per licensure and agreement.
• Respond to emergencies and neurocritical deteriorations.
• Document care in the EMR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Educate and guide patients, families, and staff.
