Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA‑approved Physician Assistant program or higher degree meeting Pennsylvania licensure requirements.
• National certification in Pennsylvania or another state with reciprocal PA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and perioperative care for neurosurgical patients.
• Conduct patient evaluations, develop care plans, and manage preoperative and postoperative follow-up with the clinical team.
• Perform inpatient rounds and complete timely clinical documentation.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations.
• Assist with clinical interventions within training, credentialing, and assigned specialty.
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and timely access to services.
• Participate in quality improvement, program development, education, and departmental initiatives.
• Support departmental clinical, academic, and educational missions.
