Job summary

Riverside Medical Group in Virginia is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join a growing Neurology team. You will deliver outpatient care, perform comprehensive assessments, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.

Eligible candidates include Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants licensed in Virginia, with at least two years of APN/APP experience and neurology exposure; sign-on and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Virginia Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license or eligibility.
• National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult‑Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum of two (2) years of Advanced Practice Provider experience required.
• Prior Neurology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care for established patients and conduct new patient consultations.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic test results.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding neurological conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
