Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) for full-time Day shift in the Neuro program at CMC, located in Toms River, NJ. The APP will coordinate perioperative and postoperative care for neurosurgery patients and collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include first assist, perioperative management, inpatient rounds, ED consults, and autonomous practice within licensed scope.

Qualifications

• Current APN Certification; Current RN NJ state license; CDS; DEA; Current BLS/ACLS.
• Current Physician Assistant Certification; CDS; DEA; Current BLS/ACLS

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent perioperative/postoperative care for all neurosurgery patients.
• Function as an active member of the surgery patient care team.
• Perform surgical first assisting, perioperative/postoperative management, hospital rounds on inpatients, and ED consultations.
• Work to the full extent of licensure with supervised autonomy.
