RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider for the Neurosurgery department at the New Brunswick campus. The role involves rounding and developing care plans with attending neurosurgeons, with invasive bedside procedures as needed. You must practice to the full scope of your licensure.

The position requires rotating days, nights, weekends and holidays. Education includes NP in Family Practice or PA program completion; NJ APN/PA licensure with NCCPA, CDS, DEA, RN, and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years inpatient or acute neurosurgery experience preferred.
• NP candidates must be FNP with acute care experience for pediatric population.
• Licensed in NJ with APN/PA credentials; NCCPA, CDS, DEA, RN, RNFA where applicable.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; Stroke education hours.

Responsibilities

• Rounding, evaluation, and care planning with attending neurosurgeons.
• Perform invasive bedside procedures as part of the role.
• Work to the full extent of licensure.
• Rotations include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
