RWJBarnabas Health in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a part-time Advanced Practice Provider to join the Cardiac Surgery team at the NB campus. The role rotates between floor and ICU with potential OR rotation for qualified candidates.

The position requires critical care experience, an Acute Care NP or Adult NP certification, and licensure in NJ; candidates should be able to work autonomously, with night, weekend, and holiday coverage as part of a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NP program with certification in Acute Care, or Adult with previous critical care experience.
• NJ APN/PA license required
• NCCPA certification required; CDS, DEA, RN and BLS/ACLS credentials expected

Responsibilities

• Rotate between floor and ICU with potential OR rotation for qualified candidates.
• Work autonomously, making treatment decisions and advancing patient care.
• Adapt to high-volume acute patient populations and manage time effectively.
• Experience with procedures like central line, arterial line, and chest tube placement is preferred.
• POCUS experience is preferred.
