Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a CNA for the Neuroscience Unit on a .9 FTE day shift (7am-7:30pm) with rotating weekends. The CNA provides direct patient care under RN supervision, assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers, and helps monitor vital signs and patient safety.

Required qualifications include Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS. Preferred candidates have hospital or long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification required at hire.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• Experience in hospital or long‑term care settings preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs, output and weights.
• Collect specimens and perform fingerstick blood tests.
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers using lifts and safe handling devices.
• Support continuing education and professional development.
