Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a CNA for a .9 FTE day shift (7am–7:30pm, 3 12-hour shifts weekly) with rotating weekends. The CNA will assist the RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers, measure vital signs, and help with mobility and patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License is required upon hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association certification is required upon hire.
• Experience in hospital or long-term care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a high functioning team.
• Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights.
• Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary tests.
• Assist with client mobility and transfers using lifts and safe handling devices.
