Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of COMP360 in certified treatment centers across the Chicago area. This field-based role partners with psychiatrists, healthcare providers and care systems to support launch and ongoing patient access.

You will deliver scientific education, navigate payer processes, and help shape a new treatment ecosystem in mental health, while traveling up to 70% and reporting to the Regional Sales Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets preferred.
• Experience with medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement, buy-and-bill and site-of-care dynamics.
• Experience supporting therapies requiring site certification or coordinated care delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and healthcare systems.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support referral pathways.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to optimize delivery workflows and patient access.
