Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of a novel mental health therapy in a field-based role across Durham, NC, Fayetteville, NC, and Burlington, NC. You will build strong partnerships with psychiatrists and treatment centers, deliver clinical education, and support patient access while traveling up to 70%.

The role emphasizes pre-launch and launch activities, account management, and collaboration with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred).
• 5-8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets; medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement; buy-and-bill and site-of-care dynamics; prior authorization and payer processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant, and compelling product and disease-state education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and communicate referral pathways to providers.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to support onboarding and optimization of delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics and scheduling, patient flow, and operations.
