Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC seeks a Senior Director to lead Spine, Neurosurgery, Neurology and Pain Services. You will oversee strategy, operations, and finances for the neuroscience service line, partnering with physicians and hospital leaders to drive growth and efficiency.

You will direct day-to-day operations, manage budgets, and develop leaders while improving access, quality, and patient experience across inpatient and ambulatory settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or related healthcare field.
• Minimum of 7 years progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years director-level leadership experience in healthcare operations.
• Experience leading physician practices, service lines, ambulatory operations, surgical services, or neuroscience programs.
• Demonstrated success managing budgets, physician relationships, quality initiatives, and operational improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a neuroscience service line strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Direct day-to-day operations across all assigned departments and practices.
• Improve patient access, throughput, scheduling, and care coordination.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the operational partner for employed and independent physicians.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor leaders and staff; lead change management initiatives.
• Establish service line dashboards and use data analytics for performance reporting.
