Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Neuroscience Sales Specialist to support the San Francisco, CA territory. You will drive territory sales within compliant guidelines, building deep product and disease state knowledge to engage clinicians in meaningful conversations.

You will develop local strategic plans, allocate resources, and work with the Regional Business Manager to achieve business objectives while navigating a telemedicine/virtual environment and complex healthcare systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of healthcare sales/account management experience or B2B sales, or recent Active-Duty Military transition.
• 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
• Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bi-polar sales experience highly preferred.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, plus a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Must have strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers.
• Must act with high integrity and comply with the Company’s policies.
• Must be able to adapt and work in a telemedicine/virtual environment.
• Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives.

Responsibilities

• Following compliance guidelines, drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the assigned territory by calling on healthcare professionals and community centers, in-person and virtually.
• Effectively use budgets to achieve territory objectives; tailor discussions to customer needs while staying compliant.
• Maintain current understanding of local market, practices, customers, and influencers; share insights with internal stakeholders.
• Provide input into resource allocation and select programs/resources for customers, practices, and systems.
• Develop local business plans with stakeholders to achieve objectives and capitalize on formulary opportunities.
• Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and share best practices.
• Administer hours, call data, objectives, responses, synchronization, samples and expense reporting.
• Build a business plan based on customer needs, resources and products.
• Complete all training within required timelines.
