Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a research lab preferred.
• Interest in experimental neuroscience and learning techniques.
• Willingness to learn rodent surgery, histology, and data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rodent colony and pre/post-operative monitoring with documentation.
• Assist in rodent surgeries and procedures.
• Perform dissection, histology, immunohistochemistry, and light microscopy; training provided.
• Conduct rodent behavioral testing and organize experimental logs.
• Support laboratory safety and inventory management; order supplies.
• Communicate progress at meetings and prepare written summaries.
