Job summary

Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science is seeking a Research Technician for the VDJ laboratory in North Chicago, IL. You will support cutting-edge neuroscience research using mouse models and human iPSC-derived neurons, with training in histology, microscopy, biochemistry, and cell biology.

Qualifications

BA/BS/MS in neuroscience or related bioscience field.
Hands-on lab research experience required; excludes solely coursework.
Experience with iPSC-derived neurons, mouse neurons, and cell culture.
Ability to perform live-cell imaging and gene-transfer techniques.

Responsibilities

Oversee lab operations, ensuring safety and compliance.
Contribute to independent research projects under PI guidance.
Support collaborative research and maintain detailed records.
Assist with mouse breeding, weaning, genotyping, and related tasks.
