Job summary

Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. in New York seeks an entry-level, full-time researcher to study tissue culture and transgenic mouse models of Alzheimer's disease.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a BS in Neuroscience and prior research experience.
• Experience with immunohistochemistry is required; GraphPad Prism proficiency is preferred.
• Poster presentation experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Animal handling.
• Biochemical analyses.
• Immunolabeling/histology of fixed tissue.
• Data collection including quantitative microscopic analyses of fixed immunolabeled tissue.
• General laboratory work and preparation.
• Cell culture.
