Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a motivated Neuroscience Co-op to assist with laboratory research projects within the Neuro TRC. You will work on in vitro disease models using cell culture and in vivo samples, contributing to pharmacodynamic assays and novel readouts in neurodegeneration research.

Ideal candidates are PhD students with experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISA, and data analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Current PhD candidates only
• Strong knowledge of neuroscience and/or cell biology
• Prior experience with cell culture
• Prior experience with flow cytometry
• Prior experience with in vivo sample preparation and ELISA/western blot methods
• Experience with assay/method development
• Experience with data analysis software (e.g., Excel, GraphPad Prism)

Responsibilities

• Develop cell based readouts for disease relevant pathways
• Develop flow cytometry based assays
• Develop ELISA protocols to examine select proteins in human, NHP, and mouse tissues and biofluids
• Document experimental results
• Generate an SOP for methods established
