Qualifications

• Experience with tissue processing for histology and immunohistochemistry.
• Experience with PCR and gel electrophoresis.
• Management of transgenic mouse colonies and biosafety disposal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct studies in mouse models and cell culture related to brain clearance pathways in neurodegeneration.
• Perform stereotactic surgeries and injections into the brain.
• Process tissues for histology and immunohistochemistry.
• Train and supervise Lab Helpers, graduate students and postdocs in surgical techniques.
• Maintain lab operations, ordering, and compliance with biosafety protocols.
• Carry out PCR and gel electrophoresis as part of experiments.
