The position involves managing the transgenic mouse colony, performing immunohistochemistry, and contributing to projects that may include stereotaxic surgery and optogenetics. On‑the‑job training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or at least four years of research experience.
• At least one year of Neuroscience wet lab experience.
• Ability to perform genotyping (PCR) and immunohistochemistry (brain sectioning, staining, imaging).
• Basic rodent handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborative management of the transgenic mouse colony (breeding, genotyping, weaning) and ordering supplies.
• Postmortem neuroanatomical studies, including brain sectioning, immunohistochemistry, and imaging.
• Learning new lab techniques and participating in individual or collaborative research projects.
• Attending and participating in lab meetings.
