Job summary

The Keiser Lab in the School of Life Sciences at Arizona State University is seeking a highly organized Laboratory Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and support ongoing neuroscience research. The role includes managing inventory, maintaining lab spaces, and coordinating mouse colonies with genotyping and records.

Responsibilities also cover protocol documentation, equipment maintenance, training lab members, and assisting with molecular and behavioral experiments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant lab experience or equivalent.
• Willingness to work with mice and handle basic husbandry if needed.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day lab operations and support neuroscience research.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and stocking of supplies and reagents.
• Maintain organization of lab spaces, equipment, and shared resources.
• Oversee mouse colony, breeding coordination, genotyping logistics, and record keeping.
• Ensure compliance with IACUC and EHS protocols and institutional policies.
