Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Hospital Specialist to engage healthcare providers through in-person, virtual, and digital tools, delivering on-label information and product access guidance.

You will coordinate with Medical, Market Access, and Patient Support to support local care delivery and patient outcomes. The role requires 2+ years in pharma or medical devices sales, ability to work in an evolving environment, and a commitment to compliant, ethical business practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience.
• Must reside within commutable distance from the primary city in the sales territory.
• Experience in cross-functional life sciences or related industry.
• 4+ years in sales with HCPs, ideally representing multiple products.
• Ability to work in a transforming, ambiguous environment.
• Proven coaching, training, and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive outreach to HCPs on product access, on-label information and patient care guidance.
• Engage customers via virtual or digital tools and coordinate with MSLs as needed.
• Facilitate speaker programs and organize local provider groups with regional leaders.
• Elevate opportunities and feedback to Area Business Lead with local market insights.
